About Mr Xi Asian Bistro

The ambiance at Mr Xi Asian Bistro strikes a balance between casual comfort and understated elegance, where soft lighting and minimalist décor encourage a relaxed dining pace. The variety on the menu invites exploration beyond straightforward sushi staples, blending traditional flavors with subtle contemporary twists. Patrons curious about the diversity available will find the choice both generous and cohesive, although some dishes lean toward familiar territory rather than pushing bold culinary boundaries. Browsing through available photos online tends to reveal the care put into presentation, even if some plates prioritize quantity over intricate detail.

Engagement from the restaurant staff generally echoes attentiveness without feeling intrusive, striking a steady rhythm throughout the meal. While the timing of some courses could benefit from smoother coordination during busier hours, the overall experience remains enjoyable. Reviews shared by other guests frequently note the reasonable prices juxtaposed with the quality of ingredients—a balance that shapes expectations fairly well. This dimension, combined with the palpable effort to accommodate dietary preferences quietly, marks the bistro as a reliable choice within the local sushi landscape.

Among the offerings, the signature sushi rolls command attention for their freshness and flavor combinations that hint at thoughtful sourcing. Yet, the dessert options feel somewhat limited compared to the rest of the menu, leaving a sense of missed opportunity in rounding out the dining experience. For those researching Mr Xi Asian Bistro restaurant details or checking recent reviews, these nuances may guide anticipation appropriately. The overall atmosphere fosters a straightforward yet pleasant experience, making it a practical stop for those appreciative of approachable Asian cuisine without overwhelming complexity.

Was having ayce reservation here (all you can eat). Variety of menu. Different type of sushi available (nigiri, maki, roll, etc). Just sad on the sashimi section: it cost 4eur more per portion… There are some menu that cost 1-3eur more as well. Love the sakura roll, umami fish with sweet and fresh sakura sprinkles. Their tempura is also coated well, might be storebought but it works. Sad about the meat, as it is not marinated and just cooked on wok with sauces. Overall of 4/5: there’s big potential here. Dessert option: nice and light. Hope they have fruit sorbet or punch in the future. One more thing: iced ocha! Hope they have one soon, it is the crucial part of ayce culture (at least in asia)!

Enjoyed dinner at MR Xi today. We normally go to either Shabu or Tuniku and I can now rate them together. The atmosphere at Xi is definitely better and during summer time it is nice to sit outside, which none of the others have. Regarding the sushi I think Yuniku is the best of all three. Regarding the teppanyaki style food we noticed that at the center of the plate the food was warm, the sides already cold. Definitely a point of improvement compared to the others. Regarding price I think it is fair, I personally find each time I overeat and in fact what I do is order with the family what we like. Last time for 5 at Yuniku for 105 euro and everyone was stuffed. Much better deal and you can do the same here too. Then again you are eating at home and not out... long story short a good place to go to.

Overal the food was really good and we did not have to wait very long. But Some staff members were yelling jokes to each other, while walking next to our table. With some words you do not want your 2yo to learn yet.

We decided to try out this restaurant that recently opened its doors to the public (they have been open just one week at the time I write this review). First off, upon entry we were very impressed with the decor. It's beautifully done and creates a cozy seemingly authentic Asian atmosphere. We were seated right away and the shared dining style was explained to us. We went with shared dining deluxe (all-you-can-eat over the entire menu). The entire experience was a feast for the taste buds. Meat dishes were hot off the grill and sushi tasted as fresh as can be. All the meat was tender and juicy and simply delicious. They also used a variety of great sauces that I would have eaten as soup if given the chance. They were that good. Dessert was included in the fixed all-you-can-eat fee, which was nice. We tried all 5 desserts on the menu and they were all really great. The cheesecake is a thick slice, and the vanilla sauce with the baked bananas was finger-licking-good. We were sad we did not have more stomach space to try out more dishes, because there were many more we would have liked to try. Though at the end of the day this just means we're sure to be back :). The service was exellent throughout the evening. Someone was always there to take away empty plates or glasses (or to clean up the table when I spilled soy sauce over it, oops) and they were very friendly overall. 10/10 would recommend this place to anyone looking for high quality Asian food.
